OpenSesame Staffs Up: New Hires Bring Experience and Build Community

We are proud to announce that Frank Corsaro, Pete LeDoux and Spencer Thornton -  experienced learning and development experts - have joined the OpenSesame community development team.

We’ve been working hard to build relationships with both the buyers and sellers of elearning content in order to build a world-leading marketplace connecting the elearning community. The next step towards is to build an experienced, capable and networked business development team to connect the courses in the marketplace to companies worldwide. Our new team members have years of experience creating custom solutions for diverse companies, and we’re eager to introduce them to you.

Frank Corsaro, National Account Executive

Frank is based in the New York area, where he has 25 years of experience in designing training curricula and building personalized solutions for diverse customers. He believes in diving into the nitty gritty details of needs assessment, building tailored solutions and consistently providing in-depth support to customers. I hear he also believes in great Italian food and the New York Mets - but you probably shouldn’t bring up the Mets. I think that depresses him.

Frank developed his elearning experience at GeoLearning, where he was a leading Enterprise Learning Solution designer focused on assessing customer needs and creating focused human capital management software solutions. Frank also has experience in learning and talent management solutions from other leading performance software companies including Element K, Thomson Learning and Kronos.

Pete LeDoux, National Account Executive

Pete brings his award-winning track record in human capital consulting with industry leaders like GeoLearning, Click2Learn, Dale Carnegie Training and DDI to OpenSesame’s growing elearning marketplace. Pete is an industry leader because of his towering presence (6’6”!) and because he believes in listening carefully, asking the right questions and making sure he understands your complex needs.

Pete is based in the Boston area, where he works from home designing complete solutions for talent management challenges in complex corporate environments. I learned last week over a pile of nachos that Pete is a super cool guy, with great stories to tell about exploring New England’s skiing, surfing and beach-combing opportunities with his wife and daughters.

Spencer Thornton, Business Development Manager
Spencer is the consummate Midwesterner: incredibly friendly, full of ideas and intent on fixing the most challenging problems. Based in Des Moines, where he is the father of two adorable boys, Spencer has worked in business development and product management for both SumTotal Systems and GeoLearning, Inc., industry-leading LMS systems.

Spencer will take the lead in developing the OpenSesame seller community, with a strong focus on creating strategic partnerships and developing a diverse content library that can meet any customer’s needs. Spencer has both business and technical expertise, enabling him to find the perfect partner to meet any need while also successfully trouble-shooting pesky SCORM roadblocks.

Getting the Team Ready to Go

OpenSesame team at Multnomah FallsWe hired Frank, Pete and Spencer to add to our firepower and  enable us to effectively meet the elearning community’s challenging and growing needs. We’re thrilled to have them on board. So thrilled that when they visited with us in Portland last week, we persuaded them to model the new white OpenSesame hoodies on our trip to Multnomah Falls. Looking good, right?

    Go-Go Oregon Hoodies!

Looking good! There's really nothing like Oregon scenery to show off an OpenSesame hoody. ;D
